Description	This limestone platform pipe has a slightly rounded bowl with a lip. The bowl is set off center, closer to the opposite end than the mouthpiece. The platform is widest at the end opposite the mouthpiece and is slightly rounded side to side. The pipe is pale yellow in color and comes from Intrusive Mound Culture. The Intrusive Mound culture is one of the least understood culture groups in southern Ohio. As the name suggests, this group is best known for their use of existing Hopewell and Adena culture mounds for burial. The Intrusive Mound culture produced a wide array of tools from bone and antler. Individuals were commonly buried with a wide range of distinctive tools made from bone and antler. Such tools are fairly unique to this time period.
