Description	George Boughton built this Greek Revival style home in Burton, Ohio in 1834. Boughton, a native of Canfield, Ohio, moved to Burton shortly after his twenty-first birthday and worked as a storekeeper. He married Lola Cook in 1834 and built this house. He also opened his own store in Burton. The home was restored in 1955. Greek Revival style was common in the United States between 1825 and 1860.
