Description	This 3.5" by 5" (8.9 by 12.7 cm) image depicts the city prison in Shreve, Ohio. The Shreve Village Council passed a resolution on April 31, 1908 to issue bonds to build a structure that would serve as a village council meeting place, jail, and place to house fire equipment. The bid of $2998.50 was accepted. The building has since been remodeled and enlarged and has since been used to house fire equipment and the library.
