Now that the election is over, I want to thank you for all you did during the campaign. I don't believe I have ever seen as much individ¬ ual effort as was put forth in the 17th District during the past two years. Your help was certain¬ ly most significant in achieving our objective.
I know that a plain le.tter^ cannot convey the true gratitude which I have for' your efforts. I know that I personally ran into many people during the course of the campaign who had received a letter from you and it was most effective.
