Befor^e me, the undersigned, a Notary Public for the State of Ohio, this day appeared the .Honorable John W. Brovjn, Lieutenant Governor of the Estate of Ohio, who is authorized by la¥ to execute and discharge the duties of the office of Governor of the State of Ohio by reason, of the resignation of the lionorable Frank J. Lausche, Governor of the State of Ohio, T^hich resignation became effective on the Z'^^ toy of January, 1957- I thereupon administered to him the oath of office in the following words, to-¥it:
"I, John W. Brown, do solemnly swear that I will support the Constitution and Laws of the United States of America, and the Constitution and Laws of the State of Ohio, and I will honestly and faithfully discharge the duties incumbent upon me as Governor of the State of Ohio to ¦ the best of my ability, as I shall answer unto God."
