Description	This interurban sign indicates "Stop 136" known to Euclid residents as the "Idlewild" stop along the Euclid lakeshore. This was a part of the shoreline route of the Cleveland, Pennsylvania and Eastern Railway (CP & E). The shoreline route's opening in 1896 led to the development of the lakeshore area of Euclid. The CP & E extended its service to Ashtabula in 1900. By the 1920s, however, competition from private automobiles and busses overcame the company. It closed in 1926. The sign measures 12.5" x 18" (31.75 x 30.48 cm).
