OAK HARBOR — (Special) - Henry Apling, 78, retired car¬ penter, collapsed and died in his Route 3 home late Thursday after¬ noon after having been in failing health for the past six years.
•He was born Dec, 2, 1883, near Oak Harbor, the son of Albert and Susanne Finken Apling. ^Survivors include his wife, the former Emma Meinke whom he married July 9, 1912 at Monroe, two sons, Howard, Oak and Lloyd, Toledo;V a daughter, Mrs. William (Verna) Domrose, Oak Harbor; 11 grand¬ children; 12 great - grandchildren; six brothers, George, William, Fred, Milton, Clarence and Walter, all of Oak Harbor, and two sisters, Mrs. Elwood (Nora) Kleinhans, Route 3, Port Clinton, and Mrs. Mary Franck, Oak Harbor. | Friends may. call at the Robin¬ son Funeral Home after 2 p.m. Saturday, where services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, the Rev. Roy Davis, Toledo, officiating. Burial
