Rev. Ayers was born Mar. 12, 18- 52, at West Unity, Williams-co, O., and departed this life at his home

He was united in marriage Nov. 15, ,1882, to Alice M. Spealman of Mbr£ Center, Defiance-co, 0., who preceded him in death, .June 26, 1915. To this union were born four children, the eldeSt. Ruth, dying in infancy. The following survive to mourn his loss: Mrs. C. J. Russell of Lakewood; Paul W. Ayers of Upper Sandusky; and Mrs. L. F. Felsted of Kentir Two granddaughters, Alice May" and Mary Rebecca Ayers of Upper; Sandusky, also survive. Two graiidsim& have preceded him .. in deEthlf-George^^Ayers Thompson and infant son of L.
