Description	These documents describe the Gallia County School field meets in 1923 and 1927. The first page discusses some of the rules of the 1923 meet. On the back is a program of events for 1923. Another one-page program from 1927 is also included. Events for elementary and high school students included the 50 and 100-yard dashes, baseball throw, shot put, relay races, and pole vaulting. Each page measures 8.5" x 11" (21.59 x 27.94 cm). Gallia County School field meets were held in the spring at the county fairgrounds. Students from around the county competed at the township or school level before being entered in the county-wide event. The winning high school was awarded a "nice cup" but it would only become property of the school if they won three years in a row.
