Dear Sister M. Anthony:
I send you prayers and
loving thoughts from Rome. I hope you
are better day by day and that the
New Year may bring you new health
and every other blessing. We are spending
Christmas with all the saints who people
the churches and sanctify the soil of
Rome - and I'll mention you to so many
of them as I can be on speaking terms
with! This little St. Anthony is blessed
by the Pope with a special petition
for you. May he say a Merry
Christmas and the most affectionate
good wishes for me.
Yours as ever
Anne O'Hare McCormick
