Description	This 3.87" x 5.3" (9.83 cm x 13.46 cm) photograph of Adell ("Della") Durbin (1862-1911) of Stow, Ohio was taken circa 1900. Also included is a 2" x 3" (5.08 cm x 7.62 cm) daguerreotype of her mother, Lucy Angeline Wetmore Edmunds (1842-1904) at age ten. Adell married Robert Durbin in 1880 and had two daughters, Jessie (1880-1936) and Lottie (1889-1939). Adell was a member of the Stow Church of Christ, where she was active in the Ladies Aid Society. She was also "a faithful member of the Stow Culture Club, and gave much of her time to its early development" according to the club's records. Durbin's son-in-law Homer Campbell willed 29 acres of land to Stow Township upon his death in 1939, which became Adell Durbin Park and Arboretum.
