Description	This songbook, once owned by Ernest J. Dubel of Dayton, was carried to meetings of the Dayton Wright Company Foreman's Club and was used during proceedings. The 8-page book contains the words to 20 popular, patriotic, and seasonal songs. It measures 6" x 4.5" (15 x 11.5 cm). The Dayton Wright Company was formed March 1917 as a collaboration between Dayton industrialists and inventors Charles Kettering, Edward Deeds, and Orville Wright. The company replaced the older Wright Company, which was sold to the Glenn L. Martin Company and moved out of Dayton. During World War I, the company won a military contract to build 4,000 British-designed DH-4 aircraft for the U.S. Air Service. Less than 2,000 were produced by war's end. The company was sold to General Motors in 1919 and closed in 1923.
