Description	The first photograph shows the two-story building that was built in 1883 and served as the Centerburg school until 1923. The school was torn down after the school term was completed in the spring of 1923, and the new building (shown in the second photograph) was built directly behind it. When school was opened in the new building in 1924 children from nearby Rich Hill were bused to Centerburg, creating one of the first school consolidations in Ohio. The current building has served from 1924 to 2003. A new high school and middle school was built about a mile west of this location and opened in the fall of 2003. Both photographs are 6" x 4" (15.24 x 10.16 cm).
