The usual book list was omitted. It was moved
by Miss Little, seconded by Mrs. Patterson, that the
books requested by patrons of the library be
added to the next book order motion then ordered
immediately. Carried.
Upon motion of Miss Kinney, the Association
adjourned.

Jan. 14 A called meeting of the Library Association
was held at the home of the Secretary Jan. 14, 1903
at 4 P.M. Eleven members present. The following
resolutions were read to the Association;
after the President had reported that the transfer
of the lot for a library site had been made.
Whereas Mrs. Louisa Roberts Lackey and
Miss Diana Roberts have donated and conveyed
to this Association a plot of ground fronting
125 ft. on Church Street and 200 ft. deep,
upon certain uses and trusts fully set forth
in the deed of conveyance thereof, to wit:
That this association erect or cause to be
erected thereon a suitable public library
building and maintain therein a public library
which shall forever be free to all the people
of Xenia and Xenia City school district, or
to convey the same to the Board of Education
