Description	The William B. Pollock Company manufactured and erected blast furnaces, special rail cars for molten steel, and other components of the steel mill. This 9-page catalog supplement measures 8.5" by 11" (21.6 by 27.9 cm). It was published in 1906 and mailed in 1907. It includes photographs of the No. 2 and No. 3 Haselton Furnaces and other equipment manufactured by the company. William B. Pollock founded the company bearing his name in 1863. The company first produced boilers, but later expanded its products to include blast furnaces and equipment for the iron and steel industries. It occupied several locations in Youngstown, first on Basin Street, then South Market Street, and finally East Federal Plaza. The Pollock Company was eventually acquired by GATX, which closed the Youngstown plant in 1983.
