Description	These articles document the early use of a bookmobile by the Lane Public Library in Hamilton, Ohio. The first article, published in the Hamilton Journal includes a photograph of the "book car." A second article from August 15, 1938 documents the bookmobile's first trip, which included stops in Oxford and College Corner, Ohio. Two other articles advertising the bookmobile from August 17, 1938 and August 29, 1938 are included here. The Lane Public Library purchased the book car vehicle for $1,500 in 1938 to use as a bookmobile, which provided library service to the communities and schools in the southwestern areas of Butler County. Lane's vehicle was one of the first five bookmobiles in Ohio.
