Description	This communion ware set was used by Reverend Theodore Partridge to worship with those unable to go to church. The case measures 15" x 22" x 7" (38.10 x 55.88 x 17.78 cm), and includes a chalice (used to serve communion wine), a crucifix, a patten (used to serve communion wafers), water holder, lectern, and altar cloths. Inside the case there is a board that when unsnapped from the top of the case, folds out to form a 41.75" x 14.25" (106.05 x 36.20 cm) table. Partridge (1928-1997) was educated at Capital University (1947) and the Evangelical Lutheran Theological Seminary (1952), both of Columbus, Ohio. In addition to his many community activities, he served congregations throughout Ohio.
