Description	The daily central event at the Pontifical College Josephinum seminary is the Eucharistic Liturgy, commonly called the Mass. These three photographs show the community gathered in celebration. Seminarians in the College of Liberal Arts gather in St. Pius X Chapel, shown in the first photograph in 1978. Seminarians in the School of Theology gather in the St. Joseph Oratory, shown in the second photograph in 1982. The third photograph shows a group gathered in the St. Rose of Lima Chapel in 1973 as Father Pablo Sicilia, a graduate and professor at the Pontifical College Josephinum, celebrates Mass on the feast day of Our Lady of Guadalupe, patroness of the Americas. The first photograph measures 6.5" x 9.5" (16.51 x 24.13 cm); the others are 5" x 7" (12.70 x 17.78 cm). In 1892, Pope Leo XIII granted the request of Father John Joseph Jessing, making the Pontifical College Josephinum in Columbus, Ohio the only pontifical seminary outside of Italy.
