Description	The women members of the Omar Church in Attica made this quilt to raise money for the church around 1910-1915. Church members and friends donated ten cents each to have their names embroidered on the quilt. More than 400 people participated. Realizing that there were too many names to embroider on the quilt, businessman John Holm offered to put the names on the blocks with a small hand-printing set he used in his store. When Holm completed his work, some of the women were not pleased with the results, and the finishing of the quilt was postponed. The blocks were stored for many years and in 1947 were finally sewn together by church members. The blue and white quilt is approximately six feet square (1.83 x 1.83 meters) and is quilted in a "Crowns of Thorns" pattern.
