Description	These seven photographs from 1986 show the Our Lady, Queen of Peace Chapel on the Franciscan Campus in Sylvania, Ohio, home to the Sisters of St. Francis. The first photograph shows the interior of the chapel showing the great window in the sanctuary (portraying Our Lady of Peace). The second shows the interior of the chapel showing the rear window (depicting the Prince of Peace) and the worship area (altar). The third image shows the entrance with the baptismal symbol. In the fourth photograph is the ceiling (designed and executed by the sisters), the worship area, the sanctuary window, and the windows with the Fra Angelico angels. The fifth photograph shows the view toward the back with the window of the Prince of Peace. Photos six and seven are close-up views of a Benedicte window and two Fra Angelico windows. The photographs measure 7.25" x 9" (18.42 x 22.86 cm). The chapel, the exterior of which was modeled on the Church of Santa Barbara Mission in California, was completed in 1961. The interior is a continuing praise of God and petition for peace. The windows are designed with Fra Angelico angels and quotations from the Psalm and Benedicte. Mother M. Adelaide, foundress of the Sisters of St. Francis, Sylvania, planned, directed and designed the chapel and other buildings. The chapel was renovated in 1986.
