Description	This was the official song of Notre Dame College until male students were admitted in 2001, when "all true daughters of our Lady " was changed to "sons and daughters of our Lady. " It was written by students representing three classes: words by Felicia Cetkowski (class of 1943); music by Sister Mary Victoire (class of 1942) and Jane Gorman (class of 1941). This copy consists of two 9.25" x 12.25" (23.50 x 31.12 cm) pages. The Sisters of Notre Dame established Notre Dame College in 1922 in Cleveland, Ohio. Founded as a private, Catholic, liberal arts college for women, Notre Dame College opened on September 18, 1922 on the campus of Notre Dame Academy on Ansel Road. As the college grew, it became necessary to build a separate campus. Land east of Cleveland in South Euclid was prepared for the new college site, and the first building opened in September 1928. In 1978, the Weekend College (WECO), an outgrowth of Lifelong Learning, was established for women older than age 25 who wished to pursue degrees in four years on alternating weekends. In 1992, the M. Ed. degree was designed for "master teachers." In 2001, Notre Dame opened attendance to men. The college's motto is "changing the world, one student at a time."
