Description	This article, "An Unfinished Story--Let's Finish It" is from the November 1928 issue of the Notre Dame News. The article discusses the need for additional funds to finish construction on the Administration Building. The newspaper is twelve pages long and measures 12.25" x 18" (31.12 x 45.72cm). The Administration Building opened for classes in September 1928. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places (1984), the building was designed by Thomas D. McLaughlin & Associates of Lima, Ohio. Due to a lack of money, only the east and north wings were initially completed; the lower level of the west wing was roofed over was not finished until 1961. This one building served all the needs of the college until the erection of Harks Hall (a dormitory) in 1955. The Sisters of Notre Dame established Notre Dame College in 1922 in Cleveland, Ohio. Founded as a private, Catholic, liberal arts college for women, Notre Dame College opened on September 18, 1922 on the campus of Notre Dame Academy on Ansel Road. As the college grew, it became necessary to build a separate campus. Land east of Cleveland in South Euclid was prepared for the new college site, and the first building opened in September 1928. In 1978, the Weekend College (WECO), an outgrowth of Lifelong Learning, was established for women older than age 25 who wished to pursue degrees in four years on alternating weekends. In 1992, the M. Ed. degree was designed for "master teachers." In 2001, Notre Dame opened attendance to men. The college's motto is "changing the world, one student at a time."

To complete the unfinished LEFT WING featured here, we need YOU. Let's send up that "Left Wing" and send it up in a hurry! Dear Reader! Erect it—a monument to your memory—a tribute to your generosity. "Let's Finish It!" Someday Someday v^hen the story of Notre Dame College is complete, you v^ill be proud to knov^ that you are one of the Catholics of Cleveland v^ho helped to build it. Something Else to Think About Gifts to the College are NEEDED for building, equipment, gen¬ eral endow^ment and scholarships. Special memorial features may be incorporated in deed or gifs or in bequests. Annuity incomes may also be arranged in connection vv^ith gifts to the College. The Deciding Factor The deciding factor is your co-operation. If Notre Dame Col¬ lege is ever to be the great success that it should be, v^e must have the financial support of the Catholic laity.
