Esteemed Friend
I have been contemplating on writing
to thee some time & now an opportunity of private con-
veyance of [of crossed out] offering I in haste must endeavour to
gave thee some of the outlines, desiring thy consider-
ation thereon wishing thou mayest do what is
best whether agreeable to my request or no [line]
I in company with some others have Saltworks
on yellow brick about one mile above where Samuel
Potts formerly lived we hold about eleven hundred
acres of Land and have one well that we have made
eighteen bushels of salt per day at & are sinking
another I wish to build a Mill as there is none near
& we have, we supposs, a good seat, in short the property
will admit great improvement but we are not able
to pay for them & improve at the same time without
