Sunday August [lined out] Sept 13th 1863
Well I am again out heart waiting
for letters not getting one for 10 days
Dear Wife I have been looking anxiously
for a letter from you but none
hase yet come I have not been
well for the last 2 weeks but I
feel Better to day cold and neuralgy
has been the most I think that has
alded me The nights has been verry
cool for some time back but for
the last 2 or 3 days it has been verry
warm again we have been here 3 weeks
to day we had some rain last night
for the first since we came here and
it looks as though it would rain again
this afternoon you may supose that I
get lonesome when I tell you that
I have not been 600 yards from whare
I set for 3 weeks still I wait patiently
for the close of this war which
wont be long if valandingham
