Molded-glass
flask
bottle
was
made
by the
Keene-Marlboro
Street
Glass
Works
in
Keene
,
New
Hampshire
, and
dates
from
1816-1830
. This
half-pint
size
bottle
is
olive
green
in
color
. The
edge
of the
bottle
is
vertically
ribbed
and there a
heavy
medial
rib
and
two
smaller
ribs
. There
is
a
plain
lip
and a
pontil
mark
. The
obverse
shows
Masonic
design
with
pavement
,
columns
and an
archway
with a
keystone
in the
center
.
Below
the
keystone
is
an
all-seeing
eye
and a
radiant
triangle
. There
is
an
open
book
with a
square
and
compasses
above
the
triangle
. The
reverse
shows
an
American
eagle
turned
to the
right
with its
wings
partly
raised
. There
is
an
oval
frame
beneath
the
eagle
with the
inscription
"
NEG.
"
