Dear Sir Taunton August 8, 1796
I have sent to you by Capt Jacob
Phillips about 20,000 Bricks, if tis agreeable &
convenient you may send me the pay for them
by sd Phillips - I have made a 1000 of large Bricks
for you agreeable t our conversation, as I could
not come at them now, I will send them by sd Phillips
who returns immediately back to New Bedford.
I expect to have in about six or eight weeks
a quantity of new Tiles, if you or any of your
Connections, shall want I shall be happy to supply
you & them -
I think you asked me if a
quantity of those large kind of brink should be
wanted, whether I could make them or not at the
price you gave for the others - I now answer I
think I could - & now is the best season to make
them in- a line from you on the subject would
be agreeable received by your already obliged
