Thomas Rotch I have done to the utmost of my power to dispose of my estate and settle my affairs so as leave here Honorably, but impossible at present. I shall do all I can to get away in the spring if I can have money enough to settle my Business pay the expences of the journey and have a little left to help myself with when I arrive at Kendall. I shall be out as early as the traveling will admit.
My estate cost me $3000 the best offer I have had for it is $1000 wich thou must know is too great a sacrifice to make. Thine of 24th last month to R Breed has been received, we are sorry to hear you are so much afflicted by the wolves and hope you will be fortunate enough to clear them off this winter. Wm Dear & Wife Richard Breeds & Thomas Reeds friends are all well adn very anxious to hear from them, Micajah Collins have just returned from a Religious visit to friends in the Eastern Quarterly Meetings.
