Full Text	B-24-01 page 1 Greenville C. House So C, August 23rd, 1816 Sir My son Killis Bruce a few years ago went to Claybourn County Tennessee there he married a girl by the name of Chapman shortly after he and Mr Chapman moved to the state of the Ohio. But I do not know what part. in time of the war re Rec’d a letter from him that he Expected to go to Detroit as a soldier. Since that time we have never heard of him. if you have any knowledge of him whether living Dead you will confer a particular favour on us by giving any information that would Enable us to hear from him. He is a Cooper by trade of a fair Complexion about thirty two years of age. The letter we Rec’d did not mention what part of the State but was put into the Post office Newport Kentucky from yours Respectfully, Charles Bruce
