Full Text	A-336-1 New Milford 19th Apl 1809 Respected Friend Thos Rotch Your favour of the 7th Inst was duly Received for which I thank you. Some workman from Humphries Ville came here the day before I received your letter & agreed to make our machines. The Jenny of 40 Spindles for $60 - the other they thought could not be afforded for that they however agreed to make them as low as any regualr workman- I fully agree with you in your obser vations as to the Manufactoring business I doubt not but you plan of mixing Cotton & Wool will answer a good purpose - There is no full Blood Merino Ewe to be had within the Circle
