Nantucket August 3, 1789
Honored Sr, after my Respects to you I inform you of my difficulties in regard to the Schooner that I sailed in from Rhodeisland not having any power from you to secure that interest which was atteached. they have taken every advantage of me which hath caused Mutiniseing and I have left the vestle there is about seventy [illegible] of Fish hear that belongs to vestle and Crew which Cannot be delivered according to agreement between the Owners and me. The agreement is left with George freeborn who has the fish in Custody likewise a quantity of there Salt they are a going out for another Cruise and will return hear in about three weeks I think it my duty to inform you of the proceedings and are with dew respects your Humble Servant George Spooner
