We send by F. Townsend for some of Thos. Rotch's cloths, and if he is at home please to hand this to him and if not, thee will be so good as to go with the bearer to the one that has the care of them to which person we expect Thos. Rotch has given orders to let us have.
Thomas engaged to have sent us a sample of his cloths with a copy of the No. marked on them which he has neglected to do. We have no other way of knowing now but by the samples and price. please send us 6 1/4 yards of the blue price $9 Do. The whole price or 12 yards of the London brown priced 8 Dolls per yard. Also the whole piece of Blue priced $7.50 the amje of which is deposited with the person to whom we have engaged apart. Also one piece of snuff priced 6 25/100 pr yd. Please send a bill of the whole. Should Thos. R. be at home he will be so good as to send us more of an asortment, and not whole pieces, but lest he should not like to have pieces cut we chose the peces we like best, and would choose to have the most of;
If No 52 is not gone we would take a few yds of it and a few of a drab 6.25 pr yd.
