  Dear Cousin
  Thos Rotch
                Enclos'd thou hast a receipt for 8 sacks
  sheep's wool quantity 947 lb pr Captn Spencer & bill of he
  same including 2056 lb shipp'd pr Captn Coleman maing
  a quantity of 3003lb.  There is 7 bags belonging to
  Obed Mitchell which must be return'd before next
  year at shear time or paid for.  I don't know of
  two hundred weight left on the Island.  shall be glad
  to be Informed how our Wool stands Compard with the
  wool of the Continent.  I am thy Affectionate Frd &
