Respected Friend -
Your sheep in this neighbourhood are all shearn, the wool is yet undivided and remains subject to your order. I think you had beter authorise some juditious person, to see it devided after which we stand ready to convey your part to Kendal, according to agreement -
The seeing the number of Lambs and the marking of them I think aught to be also seen to - as the most of us have other sheep that went to the same Ram. There is thereby a loose(?) open for deception did we feel so disposed - and as the pecularity of the times call forth all the deviant propencities of the human heart to mischief and deception of every kind I should supose it best to have this part of the business p[?]osly seen to -
