Full Text	A-264-1 page 1 Esteemed Friend Nantucket 8th of 10 mo 1802 Thomas Rotch I now inform thee I attended to that Oil matter. The next day after I got home and sent on a few lines (not by Post) but for fear it may not come safe to hand I think it best to send this by Post. I find there is not many tones of that quality on our Island at this time, and the lowest I can get it for is 98 Cents pr galn of such men as I can depend on, Jeames Hozier 10 days before I got home purchased all ours @ 95 Cents, half Cash & half 6 month Cr. This seams all the needful at present. So I remain with love thy Friend Benj Mitchel
