        Sir

                         I have purchased the Sugar & Coffee wrote for & shipped on board Capt Gardner for Nantucket, who says in his arrival he will ship it to you by the Packet. should have shipped it by Capt Taber, but laying below my store & not knowing it, was informed upon enquiry that he had sailed; 

  When in Cash for your Candles shall forward by the Stage. will thank you to inform your Brother William that there is not a thousand Mercht Clapboards for sale in this place, expect there will some arrive in the course of a few days then will purchase & ship them. P. S. Annexed you have the Bill of he Sugar & Coffee amt L 7.4.0 which have placed to your Dr.   I am respectfully your Friend & Humble Servant
