Full Text	A-218-25 page 1 Boston 12th January 1797 Respected Friend Thos Rotch Your favour of the 7th Inst is before me, & in answer say that I am in Cash for your Account 250 Dollars, which sum I will endeavour to have ready for your Dft next week, There is about $390. which became payable the 6th last month, but the scarcity of cash has prevented my being able to collect it: I have however considerable prospect of obtaining payment in a short time of thte persons from whom this sum is due I feel perfectly secure. I shall for the future, remain particular to whom I trust your property with. I have closed
