Thy esteemed, of the 27 came
duly to hand, and I have enclosed $253 in a
Letter to Richard Jackson Jn. and directed him
to endorse the same on thy note agreeable to
thy advice; but as the Stage came in late
and I have several letters to write it will be
out of my power to comply with thy other
request until 2d day morning, when I will

pay the balance of the Order^ to Wm Rotch, Jr
and please to accept my warmest thanks and
gratitude for thy long indulgence, as it has
been of material service to me.
There is likewise considerable more Money in

my hands belonging to thee, he^ I have not
time rightly to ascertain, but should it be con
-venient for thee to let it remain in my hands
on Interest, a short time longer it will be very
agreeable to me.
