Mr Thomas Roach, Sir Although a stranger I have taken the liberty of addressing you, through this medium to inform you that Richard Imlay left this country indebted to me upwards of Eleven dollars, merely to know whether he had left any property in your hands to satisfy his debts, as I had understood that he had left some property at Kendal, please to inform me by the first opportunity whether there is any prospect of getting the money through you or if he had left no agent or property whether there might not some arrangement be made by you so as the mo.
I am respectfully yours
Geo Endly
