Description	In a short letter to his wife, Thomas Rotch reassures her that his health is improving and she should worry less about himn and more about their business. He was probably referring to economic stagnation of his business as a consequence of inexpensive foreign imports that began to flood into the United States at 1812. 8" x 9.75" (20.32 x 24.77cm)

Full Text	A-30-23 Mt Pleasant 9 mo-10th 1821 My dear C anxiety will be very much awakened from the Intelligence that probably reached thee on first day but I have been gradually gaining and have just appetite increased. I think when the Carriage comes I shall be able to proceed to Steubenville. I have every attention necessary- don't be concerned about me but take all the care of thyself thou can and worry about the business. let all go as they may untill I may get home very affectionately Thy Thos Rotch I expect the Carriage to night
