Mr Thos Rotch, Dear Sir, Your Esteem’d fav 29th Ult and 2nd Instant are before us, your Dft for Thos Hazard Jn is at your Debit, we send you by the Bearer three hundred & Sixty five Dollars being the Balance due you after reserving one hundred Dollars agreeable to your request. We have remaining on hand twenty Nine Boxes Candles unsold – the Credit on this article has been extended to Six months Interest after 4 by David Anthony in consequence of which we have been unable to make any Sale, shall expect your further orders respecting this matter, as it will be impossible for us to send yours while others can sell them on Better terms, we shall attend to your other orders and remain, Respectfully yours
