Full Text	A-57-1 page 1 Esteemed Friend New York 4 mo 12, 1810 Thos Rotch I should now be glad to have the machinery for my manufacture as my building is now prepared for it, and I will either transmit the Mney to thee or pay it as thou may direct to some person in New York which would work rather better as some risque may attend sending p.post perhaps some Trader from Hartford might find it convenient to take a Dft on me from thee if they come down soon please to send them directed to me care of Dodgson & Hauschurch 292 Pearl St wehre if a Dft should come may be presented for me, as I am not daily in town. My wife desires her affectionate remembrance to thee & thine in which I unite thy affect friend J Barrow
