Dear Uncle
I have been expecting letters from thee along time & cannot account for thy not having written me, please let me hear from thee often. I am very anxious to know how your progress in your settlement & hoe your health is, does the climate suit the sheep are they healthy & how many full blooded merino lambs have been added to the flock since you left here with them. the particulars relative to there increase, the expense of keeping sheep the value of lands, the best place to form a settlement etc etc many of my acquaintances are looking towards the Ohio & are anxious to know thy opinion since thee has become more acquainted with that Country, business continues very dull and if the English Orders in Councel are not repealed ti will be more so, I however have not the least idea that Gt Britain
