My dear Cousin Amy Thurston after
a most distressing illness of ten days
departed this life 31st of ye 10 month 1791
I was favored with sufficent health
to be with her almost every day-
I enjoyed the great satisfaction of feeling
a reciprocal revival of that love which
had cemented our hearts from early
youth, she bore her painful disorder
with patient submission to the divine
will. I have no doubt she has ent-
ered the mansion prepared for the
righteous...........

a letter from James Robinson jun.
conveyd the sorrowful tydings of
our beloved Cousin Elizabeth Robinson
decease,k of the small pox at Newyork
the 4th instant - her composure dur-
ing the progress of that afflicting
disorder, & calmness at the fianl
close, evince a preparation for a
better state. She was justly esteemd
for her many valuable qualifications
by all that knew her.
