Benjamin Mix agreement, Kendal, 7th mo 10th 1812

	I Benjamin Mix of Stark County do
	agree and bind myself that within the time
	of Eighteen days from the date of this agree=
	=ment to dig and finish a good and well di=
	=rected Mill race five feet from the head of
	the stakes to the bottom of the race which is
	to be sevenfeet wide at the top and four feet
	wide at the bottom.  The said race to begin
	at the place where the Mill dam is to be placed
	and proceed on southwardly until it comes to
	the point of James Derling agreement for
	the same race on Sippo Stream.  For which
	when I have completed the said above agree
        =ment for Thomas Rotch the said Thomas is
        to pay me for each and every Rod of said Race
        as above described the sum of One Dollar
        eighteen & a half Cents.           his
