You have been so frequently the
companions of my mind in the renewed feeling of that
Love which on our first acquaintance in a peculiar
manner flowed in my heart towards you- that I
seem as tho I could not leave these ports without
manifesting by a few lines how tenderly I am interes-
-ted in your steady advancement towards Zion the
city of our Solemnities - for tho you have
given up much, -sacrificed things near &
Dear- there yet remains an unsubjected part-
something is yet called for, & obedience only
will secure that peace which posseth under-
-standing - the Clay is not to day unto the
Potter why formest thou me thus - oh! That
we may be given up to be what the
great & Heavenly Potter may seemest to make
