You favor of yesterday I recd today
I am under an obligation to you for the early
information on the subject of the draft
some time since I forwarded to Park & Carptenter
three Hundred dollars per Jas. W. Lathrop Esq.
and at present owe them the amt.
of the draft, but shall be very willing to accept
it. It would be impossible to make
specie payment I could pay it in the
best of our current paper, or if J,M,
Baumber would select several banks I
would in a short time procure the amount
in the paper of them banks.
the bearer J. Hall spoke to Jno Saxton on the
subject of printing the memorials and from the
crowd in the store, I did not hear what
passed, on J. Halls returned. I shall got to him
Jno. Saxtons if he has not already received
an answer. Yours Respectfully
