As thy TR has not yet seen
fit to favor me with an effusion of his pen
I now inform thee that I recd thy very Exceptable letter
today from Charmd and were it not for my continu
=al occupation from morn to night and often times
very nigh all night. I should think it long between
the dates of thy Letters but believing thy spare time
other
is taken very much up in keeping up^Corespondences
of more moment than mine I am willing to make
the best of it tho I am very often disappointed.
When I call at the Office, in looking back on what I have
writing am almost afraid thou will construe that I
am dissatisfied but, far but from mine.
I am rejoiced to find all things go on so cleaver with
you, and as thou Wishes to know when I shall come
on, I cannot yet say for certainty, as I did not conclude
the Bargain about the machinery with the man as
hinted in a former letter I do not think however that will
detain me any time for if he does not give a fair price
