Finding by thy letter my dear friend that thou
wishes S Williams same comfortable things for her
confinement which was one week this morning being
secondary informed of the contents of thy letter.
she said she had procured[illegible]and necessaries at
Wm Henrys but thought she should need a little
Shugar. Hers a fine son weight 12 pounds and was
dressed in thy old flannel gown Sarah was very
comfortable yesterday. She desired much love and
was much obliged for thy care of her. Comfort
Breed also has another daughter calls her
Hariet Mar[illegible]about 3 weeks old they are all
well= Betsy Richmond has maid us a visit this
winter herself and children are unwell with colds
which have been very prevalent here owing I suppose
to the sudden changes of the weather it is now beautiful
=l warm sunshine and [illegible]
the roads very muddy, I must mention a little
the order of our Company matters. Charlotte goes to
school all she can she has not found time to spin one
thread all winter. little Stephen is so cross and sick and
troublesome it is as much as the mother and
Charlotte can do to scrabble along and do what
must be done he has been much afflicted with sores
in his head for several weeks. Sally & Nancy give
milk yet [illegible]has a fine calf she is prity gentle
to milk Charlotte is engaged this morning learning
the boys to drink= from what I can learn the
Austins douth mean to take the cows this summer they
have bought one and talk of buying another of
D Richmond
James has not done the ploughing he talked of last
fall neither picked up the girls he talked of they
give it up he is engaged in diging a well he
has dug 23 feet no water yet.
