My dear Aunt
I received thy acceptable litter, and was pleased
to hear you thought of coming this way; Mother has received
one since mine. Mother has much recruited, and is so as to
get out to meetings, but is still weak, so that writing is
something of a task to her. Cousin Rebecca Rodman had
a son about 9 days ago, she is poorly, and is thought to have
something of the same fever as Mother had. Cousin Samuel,
cousin Lydia Rodman. Are with cousin Anna Robenson.
cousin Samuel expects to return in a day or two, and to
leave cousin Lydia with cousin Anna to spend the
winter, little Thomas has been poorly but is better.
Cousin William had a letter from New Bedford
which mentioned their being all well, his Grand Father
had been poorly with a fever but had recovered.
Eliza Coffin passed Meeting last Monthly meeting at
the western Meeting, cousin Mary Mortons health is ans
well a is common for her. Elizabeth Rowland Howell
has a son about two weeks old, and is brave.
cousin Anna Rotchs health is better, she was quite poorly
