I hasten my dear to improve this mail
with the pleasing tidings that our dr
S Arnold is this day in possession of a
fine daughter & as comfortable as can
be expected She became indispos d about 4 o clock
this morning. But did not send for her mother
till day light-we went to mo meetg at
eleven, anxiously interested for the event;
at the close of wh recd a favourable
acct and about 4 were reliev d
by the agreeable intelligence I have not
yet obtain d further particulars, having con-
-siderable company- & it being very un-
-comfortable walking from snow
We have had for a week past the
company of our valued frd Rowland
Green, who is engag d in a family visit
